GEMTOR HARNESS - Functions

FRONT VIEW

The Gemtor 541NYC left side closing harness in its stowed position. This harness appears in a pair of Morning Pride left side closing turn-out pants with sewn in straps to hold the harness in place.

REAR VIEW

The Gemtor 541NYC harness has the option to adjust (tighten) the leg straps by simply grabbing the strap and pulling downward. This provides a tighter and more secure fit of the harness.

HOOK AS AN ANCHOR

The Gemtor 541NYC harness comes standard with a triple action ladder/Pompier Hook. This hook is ideal for securing to ladder rungs, inside tower ladder buckets, on tether lines and other secure objects while operating to safeguard from falls.

ENTENSION LOOP IS AN ATTACHMENT POINT

The Pompier hook is attached to the extension loop, which is rated as an attachment point.

SLIDING D-RING

The Gemtor 541NYC harness comes equipped with a sliding D-ring. This was added and is specifically designed by FDNY to work in conjunction with the Petzl EXO Personal Safety System. It is rated and can support the user during emergency egress.
